Moin! Ich bin Julia, gebürtiges Nordlicht und Editorial & Commercial Fotografin mit den Schwerpunkten Food, Still-Life & Produkt, Corporate und Medizinfotografie. Für Unternehmen, Agenturen und Magazine erstelle ich zeitgenössische Fotografien mit klarer und eleganter Ästhetik on location und im Studio. Einzelfotos, Serien und komplexe Reportagen – von der Konzeption, über Styling, Produktion bis zu Edit und Nachbearbeitung laufen sämtliche Arbeitsschritte bei mir aus einer Hand.
Geprägt haben mich mein Fotojournalismus & Dokumentarfotografie-Studium an der HS Hannover, wo ich gelernt habe, visuell Geschichten zu erzählen, sowie etliche Jahre in Asien, u.a. mit Praktika und Assistenzen in der Werbe-, Food- und Editorialfotografie.
Ich bin ein unkomplizierter, zuverlässiger und optimistischer Mensch, der Wert auf ein harmonisches Miteinander legt. Meine Kunden schätzen meine ruhige Art, mit der ich fokussiert und detailliert arbeite.
Hauptsächlich lebe ich in Hannover, bin aber auch sehr oft in Hamburg und den angrenzenden Regionen (Braunschweig, Bremen, …) sowie deutschland- und weltweit im Einsatz, insbesondere im südostasiatischen Raum (Malaysia, Singapur, Thailand). Kuala Lumpur ist meine zweite Heimat. Neben meiner Leidenschaft für Fotografie und Kunst habe ich ein Faible für fremde Kulturen und ihre Küchen, das Meer, Wong Kar-Wai und gesprächige Samtpfoten.

Hi there! I’m Julia, an editorial & commercial photographer specializing in food, still life & product, corporate and medical photography. I create contemporary photographs with clear and elegant aesthetics for companies, agencies and magazines on location and in the studio. Single images, photo series or complex documentaries – from conception, styling, production to editing and post-processing, all work steps come from a single source.
My biggest influences are my photojournalism & documentary photography studies in Germany, where I learned to tell visual stories, as well as several years in Asia, including internships and assistances in advertising, food and editorial photography.
I am down-to-earth, reliable and optimistic and I value harmonious growth environments, constructive challenges and work that fuels my soul. My clients appreciate the calm way in which I work in a focused and detailed manner.
I’m mostly located in Hanover, but very often I also work in Hamburg and am available all over Germany and around the world, especially in Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand). Kuala Lumpur is my second home. In addition to my passion for photography and art, I have a strong weakness for foreign cultures and their cuisines, the sea, Wong Kar-Wai and talkative felines.
